Antelope Complex Fire Update for Tuesday July 10, 2007

A town meeting was held Monday night July 9, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Janesville Elementary School gymnasium on Main Street in Janesville. Representatives of the County Office of Emergency Services and the Antelope Complex Incident Commander were on hand to discuss fire activity, operations, and outlook as well as evacuation plans with members of the public.

Westwood FFA students preparing for Fair

July 10, 2007 — It’s crunch time for Westwood High FFA students entering animals in the Lassen County Fair scheduled for July 18-22. Each must devote time daily to feeding and exercising their animals so they will be market acceptable, which means they are ready to sell at auction.
