Friday, April 3, 2015 — The approval of a purchase and sale agreement for Herlong property being disposed of by the county has been tabled until a legal description has been completed.
According to county administrative officer Richard Egan, a field survey is being conducted on an easement of property the county is retaining near Amedee Airfield.
The survey should be completed during the next several weeks.
The land being sold surrounds the Amedee Airstrip, which is owned by the United States Army.
The matter came before the Lassen County Board of Supervisors at its Tuesday, March 24 meeting, but it will be brought back at a special Tuesday, April 7 meeting.
