Sober Graduation donations sought

Saturday, May 23, 2015 — Sober Graduation draws several hundred high school seniors from the county each year and provides a place for them to celebrate in an alcohol- and drug-free environment.
Planning is under way for the 30th annual Sober Graduation to be held Friday, June 5.
In a letter, county superintendent of schools Patty Gunderson said, “Our goal is to continue the success of Lassen County’s Sober Graduation celebration: no accidents, tickets, citations and most importantly, no deaths on graduation night.”

She said the success of the event hinges upon having rewards for students.
