Police release few details about the deaths of two youths
According to a press release from the SPD, officers and medical personnel responded to an unattached bedroom of an Inspiration Drive residence on a report of two non-responsive juveniles.
Alan Hoffman, 15, a sophomore at Lassen High School, and Stephen Draxler, 17, a senior at LHS, were deceased.
“There were no signs of foul play,” the press release reads. “The cause of death is unknown at this time. The cause of death will likely not be determined until the completion of an autopsy and toxicology screening.
“Anyone with information is asked to call the Susanville Police Department at 257-5603 and ask to speak to the detectives. You can remain anonymous if you wish.”
