SENIOR FOOD & GIFT BASKET DRIVE
Now through Dec. 22 the Lassen County Council on Aging/Food Bank and Lassen Senior Services will be taking donations for their Holiday Food and Gift Basket drive. They are in need of enough donations to make 50 gift baskets for our local senior citizens. You can see their ad in this week’s paper for a listing of all the donation stations. This holiday put a smile on the face of our elderly with your generous donation.
BANK CELEBRATES THE SEASONPlumas Bank is celebrating the holidays with the community by hosting holiday mixers on Thursday, Dec. 10, from 5:30–7 p.m. at both their Susanville and Chester offices.
By the way, be sure to congratulate the bank since they are also celebrating 29 years of community banking this month!

RUBY AWARD: FOR WOMEN HELPING WOMEN
Soroptomist International of Susanville is accepting nominations for its Annual Ruby Award (formerly Making a Difference for Women Award) thru Dec. 21. Nominees must be women who have used their personal or professional influence and resources to improve the lives of other females.
