Ronald Branvold, DC tells us that Susanville Chiropractic Clinic will be offering adjustments for a $20 cash donation today, Dec. 22 to raise money for needy families in the area. “We are not billing insurance today, so we are offering an adjustment for existing clients and free X-rays with an adjustment for new clients on this one day in order to raise money for those less fortunate during the holiday season,” according to Branvold. If you know a family who needs help you can submit a written nomination and drop it off at their office this week. So if shoveling snow has left you with a pain in your spine, get an adjustment and do a good deed today.

Cathy Potter, store manager for US Cellular in Susanville informs us they have recently put up two new cell sites. One in Lake Almanor providing coverage for Hamilton Branch and the Penninsula, the other one is in Greenville, providing coverage for Greenville, Taylorsville and Crescent Mills.

NEW METAL BUILDING AUTHORIZED BUILDER
Jim Willis is now an authorized builder for American Building Company. He is the only one in Northeastern California who is building their systems. Willis said they are great for mini storages. He is still an authorized STAR builder too.
SINGING CHRISTMAS TREE
The fourth annual Singing Christmas Tree is once again being performed at the Susanville Assemble of God church in Susanville. Pastor JD Estacio informs us this year’s performance is titled, "Baby Changes Everything." This free performance (donations appreciated) is this weekend both at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19 and Sunday Dec. 20, at the church on Richmond Road.

COLORING CONTEST
The Lassen County Federal Credit Union is having a coloring contest this season. It's for age groups from 5-7 and 8-10 years. The will be giving away two giant stuffed stockings. Hurry in to get your paper to color, the contest ends on Dec. 21, the winners will be awarded on Dec. 23.
