There's a great new store in Westwood called Clothes Heaven (not Haven) where you will find all kinds of fun things to be had. It's in the heart of Westwood near Young's Market.

DIVORCE CARE NOW AVAILABLE   

Senior Pastor Troy Stein of Susanville Assembly of God Church in Susanville informs us they will be offering a Divorce Care Ministry class beginning April 8. The class is a 13-week program provided by top experts and is open to the public. If you or someone you know is going through or thinking about you or divorce, this class could be for them. Look no further than M & S Motorsports in Susanville. They are still located in the same building as B & B Auto; they just moved their storage to an outside building and kindly gave B & B Auto a little more room. FINE DINING FOR EASTER   

Esther Faustino owner of Lassen Steaks inside the El Tepeyac Grille tells us they are taking reservations for Easter Sunday dinner.

HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY
   

Chuck Downs tells us that the two Susanville Subway stores will be celebrating their one-year anniversary on April 1.  Located inside Wal-Mart and the Sierra Shopping Center, the Downs tell us they are very excited for the warm welcome they’ve received this last year in the community so they’ve put together a special anniversary promotion valid only on the first.  For more information see their ad in this weeks paper.

EASTER BASKET GIVEAWAY   

Rhonda Fuller and Mary Huffman tell us that Great Basin Antiques is having their monthly gift basket drawing this week and the lucky winner will get a basket full of unique antique treasures.  Plus they are also accepting donations to support local Student Ambassador Michael Watts who is trying to earn $6,500 to attend the student People to People leadership conference in Europe this summer.     

“We think it’s a great thing when a young adult has goals to develop their leadership skills and we are happy to be a fundraising donation station for Michael Watts,” said Fuller.  So head to Uptown to see what’s new and support a good cause too!

MANNEL AT UPS STORE IN SUSANVILLE   

Andy Warren, owner of our local The UPS Store in Susanville is happy to have Shirl Mannel working in his store. Shirl is working full time. Have you noticed their new van with The UPS Store graphics on it? Shirl tells us they have deliveries available now. Stop by and say hi to her. They are located in the Windgate Mall near WalMart.

EASTER DINNER IS SERVED  
 

How does honey glazed ham, mashed potatoes, veggies and more sound? Gary Watson, owner of Hart's Cafe informs us he will be serving this wonderful Easter Dinner beginning at 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
