A NEGATIVE DECLARATION
LASSEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
As Lead Agency pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, Lassen County is preparing a Negative Declaration for the following project:
Applicant: Gregory Brehm (OPDE).

Project: Use permit to allow a 5 Megawatt single axis tracking solar power generation facility on a 28.5 acre parcel. The project is to allow up to 500 “MS-1E single axis trackers,” which are approximately 15.65 feet tall and have solar panels that are approximately 1,000 square feet. The project also proposes the development of a water well, septic system, 1,500 square foot office and a 3,000 square foot shop.
Location: The project site is located north of the Sierra Army Depot, approximately one mile northeast of the Amedee Airstrip, and approximately 3,000 feet south of Wendel Road (Co. Rd. 320).
Zoning: The project site is zoned U-C-P-S (Upland Conservation, Public Safety Combining District).

Mental Health Services Act
Lassen County Mental Health is pleased to share with you the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) FY 2010-11 Annual Update for public comment and review. The MHSA FY 2010-11 Annual Update is posted for a 30 day public comment period from April 12, 2010 to May 12, 2010. This update seeks to continue state funding for local mental health projects for Community Services and Supports Projects.
After the 30 day public comment period, Lassen County Mental Health will hold a public hearing about the MHSA FY 2010-11 Annual Update at the Local Mental Health Board meeting on May 17, 2010 from 6:00 PM at 707 Nevada Street Susanville, CA. The draft Community Services and Support Annual Report is currently available. All comments and questions should be directed to Tiffany Armstrong, MHSA Coordinator.
