Rebecca York-McCallister
Rebecca York-McCallister passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 after a fatal car accident on Richmond Road.
She leaves behind her husband Tim McCallister; her daughter Morgan York; her son Christopher Lenzora; four step children, Tanner, Hunter, LIndy and Trapper McCallister; her mother Barbara Wadsworth; father David Boyle; stepfather Ken Martin; sister Laura Martin, and her two children Shaun and Cameron; and her brother Travis Harrison, of Reno, Nev.
Rebecca York-McCallister was a graduate of Lassen Community College. For more than a year she worked at Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, Calif.
Rebecca York-McCallister was a loving and devoting wife, mother and friend. She was an amazing woman and she will be missed by everyone who loved her. Rebecca loved spending time with her close friends and family. She was there for anyone who ever needed any help and would be there for you whenever you needed her. She was a remarkable young woman. She had been a wonderful part of every one’s life.
Following cremation there will be a service held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Mountain View Cemetery in Reno, Nev. Please come pay your respects.

Westwood resident Darlene Lillian Wilson passed away from this life Friday morning, May 14, 2010 at Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nev.
Born in Elko, Nev. on April 10, 1923 to the late Clifford and Mildred (Robertson) Snowball. She moved with her family to Westwood at the age of 3 and resided there until 1982 when she relocated to Susanville, Calif. She returned to Westwood three years ago.
On April 9, 1949 Darlene married her childhood friend Darrell Wilson in Reno, Nev. To this union a son and daughter were born.
Darlene was a talented seamstress and in her younger days took in sewing to help support the family. She had a great affection for animals.
In passing, she leaves her son Don Clifford Wilson and wife Dailene, of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; daughter Debra Sheetz and her husband Randy, of Westwood, Calif.; grandchildren Angela Dawn Wilson, Jenny Annette Sheetz and Janet Courtney Sheetz; along with her great-grandchildren, Nathan Don Sheetz, Luke and Hunter Wilson.
She joins in her eternal home her husband Darrell who passed away from the life in 1971 and grandson Christopher Wilson, who tragically passed away from this life in May of 2009.
Following cremation at Fehrman Crematory inurnment will take place alongside her husband in the Chester District Cemetery. Hal Eastwood died in Prescott, Ariz., on May 13, 2010.
He was born in Long Beach, Calif., on Oct. 30, 1921.
He is survived by three children, Gary Eastwood, of Susanville, Calif.; Scot Eastwood, of Yarnell, Ariz., and Sharon Young, of Spokane, Wash.,; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Jeffrey Allen Johnson Sr.
Jeffrey Allen Johnson Sr., 34, died on May 23, 2010, at his residence in Susanville, Calif.
He was born on Nov. 15, 1975, in Susanville.
Jeffrey is survived by father Earl Johnson and mother Victoria Doherty, of Susanville; girlfriend Angela Thursby, of Susanville; son Jeffrey Allen Johnson Jr.; daughter Emilly Anne Johnson; sisters Charmaine Sorrels, of Crescent City, Calif., and Tracy Johnson; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9 at the Walton’s Chapel in Susanville.
