POTASSIUM IODIDE TABLETS INFORMATION
The Health Nut has received a shipment of Potassium Iodide tablets. The recent nuclear accident at the Japanese plant has prompted many people to request this supplement. Owner Kristin Volberg said you don’t want to take potassium iodide unless and until you are exposed to radiation and that potassium iodide will protect the thyroid gland from radioactive-iodine but not radioactive cesium, plutonium or strontium-90. Kristin recommends high fiber foods, apple pectin, chlorella, milk thistle, calcium, magnesium and other healthy foods to help protect and cleanse the body. A free list of these are available at The Health Nut.
