Renegades sweep Reno
June 29, 2011 — The Susanville Renegades American Legion baseball team traveled to Reno Saturday, June 18 to play the Reno Knights.
The Renegades won the opener 8-1 behind the pitching of Ryan Sharp, Ryan Bereznak and Kyle Winn.
The offensive charge was led by Cody Chandler who went 3-4 with three runs batted in. Billy Broad also went 2-3 with two runs batted in.
In the second game, Susanville scored five runs in the first inning and went on to win the game 11-4.
Joey Beck, Billy Broad and Kyle Winn handled the pitching for the Renegades.
Cody Chandler again led the Renegade’s offense going 2-4 with a double, a triple and three runs batted in.
Chandler also had a great day defensively at third base.
