FARMER'S MARKET
Did you know the Janesville community hosts a weekly Farmers market from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays. You will find everything from handmade scarfs, fresh herbs and berries to jewelry by local artists like Norma DeBaker and pottery by Isabel Perez-Judge. They have vendors and items from the valley as well. The market is at Artisan Coffee. So grab a coffee or a smoothie and check out the Janesville Farmer's Market today.
T-DAP SHOTS
Pharmacist BJ Goodridge, of Walgreens, in Susanville informs us that you can get your kids' t-dap shots at the pharmacy. He also tells us some insurance companies pay 100 percent of the shot. You don't need an appointment, as long as a pharmacist is there they can get their shot. School age children (grades 7-12) must have the shot prior to returning to school this fall.
SENIOR CENTER BENEFIT
Eagle Lake Village will be hosting a spaghetti feed to benefit the Lassen County Senior Center from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 28. For just a small donation, you may dine-in or take out and help support a great cause! For more information, contact Jessika Johnson, Community Relations Director at 257-6673.
ONE OF A KIND JEWELRY DESIGNS
Local artist Norma DeBaker informs us she has created many new beautiful dichroic/fused glass jewelry pieces. From pendants, to earrings, rings and bracelets, each piece is carefully handcrafted and kiln fired to produce the one of a kind original design. Plus, DeBaker said she has added many ceramic pieces to her show too. You can find her at the local Farmers Markets in Susanville and Janesville or at the Midsummer Madness Festival in Foxwood Park, in Chester on July 30.
