Lassen has biggest loss of the season against league rivals
Oct. 22, 2011 — The Lassen High varsity football team traveled to Paradise High to take on the Bobcats Friday, Oct. 21, in a highly-anticipated battle for the top spot in the Eastern Athletic League South.
The Bobcats proved why they are undefeated after battling the Grizzlies in the contest, and Lassen fell 56-7.
The Paradise defense dominated over the Lassen offense and Brian McDonald was the only Grizzly who found the endzone with 35 seconds left in the first half.
Freshmen were the only Lassen team to manage a win over the Bobcats, 42-22 and junior varsity fell 20-6.
Up next for the Grizzlies is a trip to Oroville, Calif., to take on the Las Plumas Thunderbirds Friday, Oct. 28.
Lassen’s last home appearance of the season will be against the Enterprise Hornets and the frosh are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4, at Arnold Field.
