The human spirit is not limited by circumstance or money. Many people may think it is but in reality, the old saying “Where there is a will there is a way” really does ring true.
It doesn’t matter what it is, if someone wants something, they will find a way to achieve it, receive it, create it or do it.
Wealth is a mindset, not a bank account, and the talents and spiritual gifts we have are more valuable than any amount of gold anyone could amass.
Many places in the world have much less resources and are starting to flourish because they are thinking outside the box. The only reason people believe they are poor is because they buy into the system that is in place.
As the governmental agencies continue to squeeze more money out of citizens, in order to keep things going, we have a choice of whether we will continue to support a failing system which does not support us or will we opt for a total disconnect from the system and create a new one that benefits all life including animals, birds and waterfowl?
In other words, we do not need permission to live a happy and free life filled with joy and happiness.
The laws that govern our activities and restrain our life are for the most part not laws that we have put into place but rather laws that government has instilled to create something other than the perfect environment for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Did you vote that you wanted cameras on every street corner in America? What does that cost the taxpayers? Who benefits from this?
It is a violation of our civil rights and a means of extorting more money from the public.
How many of you supported black ops to be sent to Iraq so that they could discredit the American soldiers with their unethical behaviors and get paid a king’s ransom for taking pot shots at Iraqi families? I seriously doubt that most people read or heard about what was going on with our tax dollars.
How many of us would take $2,000 out of our pockets to support inhumane treatment and intolerance of our friends and families?
I believe we are much better than our government gives us credit for and I also believe that we cannot continue to give government a blank check.
That doesn’t mean I will vote Republican, though, because whether you vote for Democrats or for Republicans, realize that the agenda is the same.
They are quite literally two sides of the same coin and while Democrats create more government, Republicans strip away the fiber of America by cutting help to the most vulnerable populations first.
Both are creating more money to line their pockets with and neither cares about America nor the American people. It is a grand performance that costs thousands of dollars each election year and one could view it as a tragedy of pomp and madness. While everyone laments, they still support the system, which does not support them.
Where do corporations get the idea that they can buy out the real American patriotism that used to be so prevalent here where people stood up for what they believed and didn’t waver in their convictions?
There is a worldwide movement going on that supports humanity as a whole and is tolerant of all peoples and religions.
It is gaining in popularity and strength because the core beliefs are that all people deserve to have food and water and energy and that the earth is sacred and important to our well-being as a human race and that what we do as people on a national level and international level does affect everyone.
I read an article about how nuclear energy was safe. If it takes 50,000 years for the waste to become nontoxic, how safe is it really? The government is still debating where they should store the waste and in case of a natural disaster like the tsunami in Japan, how can anyone ever say that nuclear power is safe?
It is time for people to wake up and smell the coffee and start exercising their due diligence in matters of energy, the environment, animals that are becoming extinct and the health of our planet as a whole.
We are not separate from all other life and it is our responsibility to be good stewards of this earth and the life forms that inhabit it.
I also believe it is time to quit thinking of war as a viable means to boost the economy and create jobs. This type of thinking has been around since man began and is quite an outdated mode of thinking if we are to be a civilized society that cares about life and how precious it is.
Many of the systems and ideas that we grew up believing just don’t fit anymore in today’s world and it is time we created something that is life-affirming and life-sustaining on all levels for all people.
Many towns in America and throughout the world are creating their own money system and also their own bartering system so that they can move freely and have abundance in their daily lives.
People are starting to wake up and realize that freedom isn’t a bunch of laws and rules created by politicians but rather the pursuit of happiness, well-being, harmony with earth and a sense of community in our neighborhoods and across the globe.
I wish you many blessings this year.
