As a real estate consultant, offering professional assistance in buying or selling, Mel has been in the business since the early 1990s. TOYS FOR TOTS KIDS SHOOT

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 6 for the Lassen Regulators’ annual Toys for Tots Kids Shoot. The event will be held at their Rice Canyon Range, sign-ups start at 8 a.m., shooting matches start at 9 a.m. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to participate in the event. MUSIC IN THE SCHOOL

Janesville School is hosting a “Save the Music” program event from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 8. Sonia Rao, of “The Voice,” and Nashville singer/songwriter Hope Nix will be entertaining the audience along with fiddle fancier Tallon Sandoval, of Janesville. FARMERS IS MOVING
