Lassen Senior Services plan fundraisers
Monday, Oct. 16 — In order to raise money for Lassen Senior Services and Meals on Wheels the agency has planned several fundraisers for the upcoming months.
An indoor yard sale will be held on Nov. 3 and they will be renting 10 X 10 spaces for people who don’t want to have a yard sale at home. They also will be selling hot dogs at the yard sale.
They have also signed up with the Funding Factory to become an e-waste recycler for ink cartridges, MP3 players, cell phones, digital cameras and laptops. This does not include computer towers or monitors.
They will also be raffling a Christmas quilt donated by Scrap-a-holics. Tickets are $1 or six for $5.
Finally, they have signed up Lassen Senior Services with Onecause.com, which is an online shopping mall for 501(c)3's or schools, etc. The stores in Onecause.com include stores that are not available to our local economy such as Cabela's, Target, Old Navy and Kohl's, etc.
