Little League needs board members if there is going to be a 2013 season
October 31, 2012 — The upcoming Susanville Little League season is fast approaching, and current there are not enough board members to run the upcoming season.
Currently there are not even enough members to hold a meeting and vote on anything for the season.
With sign ups starting in January the league needs help.
The type of season, if any, depends on volunteers getting on the board and learning how to run a little league season within little league guidelines.
The following is a list of all open positions, which ar vital to fill before January — President, Treasure, Chief Umpire, Snackbar Coordinator, Sponsorship/Information Officer, Junior's Vice President, Coach Coordinator for each division, Vice President and Safety Officer.
The season is already two months behind when it comes to meetings and preparations.
The upcoming season will depend on whether or not these positions are filled.
If the positions don't get filled, there will not be a 2013 season.
There will be a meeting to elect new board members, as well as to discuss how the upcoming season can be accomplished at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 in the Susanville Little League Boardroom.
