UPDATE:According to Terry Cobb, a lieutenant with the Standish/Litchfield Fire Department, the home that caught fire on Lambert Lane in Standish was a total loss. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a fully-involved single-story dwelling fire. Crews performed an exterior attack and knocked the fire down in about a half an hour, according to Cobb. No one was home at the time of the incident and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is unknown. 

 Jan. 15, 2013 — Firefighters battled a fully involved structure fire that occurred in the late evening Monday, Jan. 14.

According to Paul Smith, director of personnel and fire operations for the Standish/Litchfield Fire Department, fire crews were dispatched at approximately 7:45 p.m. to the incident on Lambert Lane in Standish.

The California Correctional Center, Susan River Fire Protection District and the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.

According to Smith, crews were on scene until midnight.
