Morrish buys NST Engineering

Feb. 12, 2013 — Susanville residents Jeff and Susie Morrish are the new owners of NST Engineering, INC.

Jeff Morrish, new President of the firm, has been with the firm since 1977. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and construction engineering and acquired his civil engineering license in 1983.

Vern Templeton will stay with the firm as a land surveyor and Stephen Schmidt will stay on as a consultant in materials testing. Schmidt has been with the firm since 1968 and acquired his surveyor’s license in 1978. Templeton has been with the firm since 1969 and acquired his surveyor’s license in 1978.

The firm will continue to provide a complete range of professional services including residential and commercial building design, structural analysis, storm water control and field inspection of construction projects, water rights surveys and applications, land surveys, subdivision, land use planning, street design, water and sewer design, solar technology, Asphalt, and soil and concrete testing. Caltrans and The American Concrete Institute certify NST Materials Testing Laboratory.
