GETTING READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS
With the cool, crisp mornings and evenings we know fall has arrived in Lassen County. Our advertising consultants are already busy working on the holiday season.
As we make plans on giving back to the community this year, once again we are going to "adopt" the Senior Center this season. We are asking the public for assistance in making donations for the seniors in our community. We will graciously accept any donations in our office anyone wants to make and we will deliver them to the Senior Center.
If you'd like to give back this holiday season, we challenge you, your family, friends, co-workers, etc. to help an organization in our community. There are many different agencies assisting people that need a little extra help. If you accept the challenge we'd love to hear from you!
SPEAKING OF HOLIDAYS....
Our annual Home for the Holidays magazine will have an all-new look this year. We will be printing a full color glossy magazine that will insert in more than 14,000 of our newspapers (in Susanville, Westwood and Chester/Lake Almanor). This festive filled magazine will be in the paper the week of Thanksgiving. If you would like to advertise in this publication, give your advertising consultant a call today.
Santa Sleigh Days is just around the corner as well. This year’s event is set for the week of Dec. 3. It's always a great way to invite shoppers into your store to kick off the holiday shopping season. We encourage people to shop locally and support those local businesses that give back to our community all year long. If you'd like to be part of this fun-filled event, give the ladies at the Times a call today. Remember, there will be $500 in shopping spree money given away.
