Sam Glass is your new Independent Farmers Insurance Agent in Susanville. Sam and his wife, Patti, have owned and operated Milwood Florist in Susanville and Lake Almanor since moving to the area in 1985.
Sam has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Montana and has recently completed extensive training through the University of Farmers Training Program.
His motto is, “Government doesn’t make you buy flowers, but they do make you buy insurance, so if you can’t beat them, join them!”

Double G Iron Horse Saloon The Double G Iron Horse Saloon is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. in Westwood. Owners, Candi and Gunnar Garrett, left, along with Mary Gow, opened their saloon at 320 Ash St. Along with the saloon, they are offering many different league play. NEW BARBER AT TIME OUT
Elizabeth Agee, owner of Time Out Salon, welcomes barber Bob Taylor to their salon. The salon is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the weekends. You will find the salon at 2055 Main St. in Susanville.
