LASSEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

The Lassen County Planning Commission solicits the aid of public agencies and the general public in consideration of the following item:

Applicant: City of Susanville

File: 2010-043

Project: Planned Development Permit and Tentative Parcel Map to divide 95.6 acre parcel into a 2.57 acre parcel (Parcel A) and a 93.03 acre Remainder, and a Planned Development Permit to allow residential use on Parcel A (the Remainder will continue to be utilized as a golf course and no change in land use is proposed).  If approved, the City of Susanville proposes to sell the 2.57 acre Parcel A to a private party for residential use.  Parcel A will revert to County jurisdiction when/if it is sold, as planned by the City, and thus the City has submitted this application prepatory to said sell.  The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15315 (class 15) of the CEQA Guidelines. 

Location:The parcel is located approximately 2,000 feet southeast of the intersection of Richmond Road East (Co. Rd. 203) and Wingfield Road North (Co. Rd. 205), immediately west of the intersection of Wingfield Road with Florence Lane (Co Rd, DV04), between Emerson Lake and Wingfield Road approximately 3.5 miles south of the City of Susanville.

Zoning:The County zoning for the project site is PUD (Planned Unit Development District), and, as such, requires that a Planned Development permit be secured prior to any development.
