Come out to the Frightmare Forest for the last time this year

This is one of the many characters you willsee during the mile-and-a-half trek through the Frightmare Forest located at the Christmas Tree Farm on Richmond Road. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 31 will be the last time you can be terrified as you walk through the Frightmare Forest until next year. Due to the Lassen Community College basketball teams having such a great turnout they decided to do it on Halloween as well. Bring your familty out to one of the best haunted houses in town.
 

Little League needs board members if there is going to be a 2013 season

October 31, 2012 — The upcoming Susanville Little League season is fast approaching, and current there are not enough board members to run the upcoming season.

Currently there are not even enough members to hold a meeting and vote on anything for the season.

With sign ups starting in January the league needs help.

 

Grizzlies lose overtime heartbreaker to Central Valley

October 27, 2012 — The Lassen High School (LHS) football team hosted the Central Valley Falcons Friday, Oct. 26.

The game pitted the number-two in the Northern Athletic League (NAL) Grizzlies, who came in with a 3-5 record and 2-1 in the NAL.

Against the number-one in the NAL Central Valley Falcons who came in with a 4-4 record overall and 3-0 in the NAL.

 

Grizzlies beat the Cubs to cap off a great homecoming week
