Police department conducts pedestrian safety event

Monday, April 6 — As a way to raise awareness, officers from the Susanville Police Department conducted a pedestrian safety operation Monday, April 6.
According to a press release from the police department, a plain clothes officer crossed Main Street as a pedestrian and drivers who did not yield were stopped by a uniformed officer.
Drivers were either given a verbal warning or were issued a citation for a vehicle code violationAdd a comment
