Stamey concert sold out

The Thompson Peak Writers and the Sunrise Rotary Club present a performance by western singer Dave Stamey from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14 at the Monticola Club.

The newspaper reported donations would be accepted at the door, but that information is incorrect. According to a spokesperson for the writers’ group, as of Wednesday, Jan. 10, tickets for the event are sold out.

Dave Stamey is excellent. My good bro Luke Sheehy was a Dave Stamey enthusiast. He really liked the song “Tonopah”. It’s a real crispy little tune.
