The Lassen Regional Solid Waste Management Authority holds a special meeting at 1 p.m. Jan. 31 at 707 Nevada St.

Only two items are on the agenda — approval of $30,650.43 for repair of the Bass Hill Caterpillar Doze Compactor and an update regarding the privatization of all solid waste operations.

According to the agenda, the requested action is: “That the Board provide direction to: 1) continue with effort to privatize all solid waste operations or; 2) continue with current system of operation.”
