4-H announces April events
It’s a busy month for Lassen County 4-H.
One of the biggest events this month is the Lassen County Fair Market Pig, Sheep and Goat tagging/ weigh-in to be held fron 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29 at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.
Other events include the Youth Quality Certification Training, Tuesday April 18 at Jensen Hall and the Lassen County Forever 4-H Drive-Through Dinner, Wednesday April 19 at Jensen Hall.

Tuesday, April 11 — Forever 4-H Drive-Through Dinner pre-sale sold tickets due to CE 4-H Office.
Thursday, April 13 — Lassen County 4-H Scholarship application and Milano Family Scholarship application due to 4-H office.
Tuesday, April 18 — Youth Quality Certification Training, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Jensen Hall, Lassen County Fairgrounds. All 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitors for the Lassen County Fair are welcome to attend this training. Completing this course will earn you the YQCA certificate which is required to show market livestock at the Lassen County Fair.
Wednesday, April 19 — Lassen County Forever 4-H Drive-Through Dinner, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Lassen County Fairgrounds, Jensen Hall.
Wednesday, April 26 through Sunday, May 7 — Tractor Supply Paper Clovers. Promote our local 4-H program.
Thursday, April 27 — Council meeting, 6 p.m., 4-H Office.
Saturday, April 29 — Lassen County Fair Market Pig, Sheep and Goat tagging/weigh-in, 8 to 11 a.m.
Sunday, April 30 — Lassen County 4-H Horticulture Day, 1 to 3 p.m., Lassen County Fairgrounds Judging Pavilion.
