David P. Unterreiner
David passed away Oct. 7, 2023 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.
As the first of 10 children, David was born to parents Cletus and Josephine Unterreiner in Susanville, California. He graduated from Lassen High in 1968.
After high school, David resided in Reno Nevada and was a casino card dealer for a few years.
David travelled to Washington and Oregon frequently and eventually made his permanent residence in Portland Oregon.
David was preceded in death by his father and mother Cletus and Josephine, his brother Paul and his sister Marette (Wakeman). He is survived by seven siblings; Mary, Alan, Virginia, Ken, Phil, Judy (Waybright) and Loree (Lippsmeyer) and 13 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
David, we love you and we will miss you.
A Rosary and Mass was held on Oct. 28, 2023 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Susanville California. David was laid to rest at Diamond Crest Cemetery, Susanville, California.
