The family of Layla Anayat-Mollath seeks the public’s help in finding the missing 13-year-old girl.
According to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Department, the girl has been missing since Nov. 17, when she was last seen around 11 p.m. She is 5’1″ tall and weighs 110 pounds.

According to an email from the family, “I am writing to ask for your help in finding a missing 13-year-old girl, Lalya Anayat-Mollath. She is my cousin’s daughter, and we need assistance from media in the surrounding states to help her family bring Layla home safely. She went missing from her home in Palo Cedro, California, Friday, Nov. 17, and hasn’t been found yet. Her family is very worried about her safety and desperately seeks information to help locate her.
“Lalya left behind her cell phone and hasn’t contacted friends or family since she disappeared in the middle of the night from her room. Her family is devastated and worried sick. They have reported her missing to the authorities but have had no luck finding her.”
