The Lassen Humane Society, the Susanville Police Department, Lassen County and the city of Susanville host the 9th annual Low Cost Rabies License Clinic and Adoption Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 21 at the Animal Shelter.
Police Captain Mike Bollinger said the event, normally held at Memorial Park in Susanville, was moved to the Animal Shelter this year. Dr. Meredith Masch with the Lassen Veterinary Clinic will be on duty.
Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers.
City licenses are $3.50 for altered dogs, $10 for unlicensed dogs and $10 for the rabies vaccination.
County licenses are $5 for altered dogs, $15 for unaltered dogs and $10 for the rabies vaccination.
Cash only for all licenses and vaccinations. Bring your current rabies certificate for licenses.
