According to a statement from the National Weather Service issued at 1:52 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, very warm, dry and breezy conditions will keep fire weather concerns elevated across the northern Sierra Front into eastern Lassen County this afternoon. A dry cold front will then bring a cooling trend with the potential for more widespread gusty winds and critical fire weather conditions on Monday, particularly in western Nevada and portions of far northeastern California.
