CHP, LCSO square off in Battle of the Badges to benefit LFS food pantry

Two local law enforcement agencies and the community face off in a good-natured battle to help feed county residents.

According to a statement from Lassen Family Services, the nonprofit agency partners with Susanville Supermarket, the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office and the California Highway Patrol to help fill LFS’ food pantry.

LFS seeks donations of canned goods, dry goods, nonperishables and toiletries during the food drive held at Susanville Supermarket from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1.
