This morning the National Weather Service in Sacramento issued a flood watch for the Northern Sacramento Valley, Central Sacramento Valley, Northeast Foothills/Sacramento Valley, Western Plumas County/Lassen Park including the cities of Paradise, Chico, Redding, Quincy, Red Bluff, Chester, Oroville, and Marysville/Yuba City from 1 p.m. through 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive rainfall are possible over the Park Fire burn scar.
