The Lassen Humane Society elected its board of directors at its Wednesday, Nov. 19 meeting.
Those elected to the board of directors are Ken Bunch, Mimi Brasher, Laura Dennis, Bre Glass, Richard Grentzer, Eve Maslin, Chris Todd and Brandy Wilder. The election of officers will take place at the LHS’ December meeting.
Spays and neuters The society also released information on the number of spays and neuters it has completed so far this year.
January through October 2024 the LHS issued 515 cat vouchers, 326 dog vouchers, 27 cat shelter vouchers, 72 dog shelter vouchers, 37 emergency vouchers, 17 out of the area vouchers and 82 feral cat vouchers for a total of 1,059 animals. Feral cat numbers for January were not reported.
