CalFire Lassen Modoc Unit was proud to attend the 4th Annual Career and Skills Day on Wednesday, April 15, at Lassen High School, according to a Facebook post.
Our personnel spent the morning connecting with students and sharing the many career paths within CalFire — including what it takes to become a firefighter.
The kids didn’t just listen —they jumped right into the action!
From racing against the clock to suit up in full turnouts in under a minute, to push-up competitions wearing turnout gear, hose packs, and SCBA packs, these students rose to the challenge.
It was an incredible day focused on physical fitness, teamwork, and opening young minds to future career opportunities.
