The Lassen Municipal Utility District Board of Directors meets at 5:30 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, April 28 at 65 S. Roop St.
The LMUD board will consider resolution No. 2026-03 requesting independent special membership on the Local Agency Formation Commission.
Other items on the agenda include approval of the minutes from the March 31 and April 17 meetings; the financial report; a report from the general manager; a report from the electric operations manager; and a proposed special meeting/budget workshop (for information only).
Closed session The board will meet in closed session to consider three items — a conference with legal counsel of existing litigation in LMUD v. William Butler et al; a conference with legal counsel of existing litigation in William R. Butler and Peggy L. Butler v. Lassen Municipal Utility District et al; and a conference with legal counsel of existing litigation regarding three cases of potential litigation.
