High Plateau Humane Society joins Lassen Human Society at tomorrow’s event at the Lassen County Fairgrounds
According to a Facebook post by the Lassen Humane Society, “We are so excited to announce that our amazing rescue partners, High Plateau Humane Society, will be joining us at our event this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (at the Lassen County Fairgrounds) with adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes.

“They’ll be bringing along some incredible pups with unique personalities, wagging tails and hearts ready to love their future families. Take a look at these gorgeous dogs!
“Whether you’re actively looking to adopt or just want to come out and support rescue animals, we would love to see the community show up for these deserving dogs. Every meet-and-greet, every share, and every conversation helps give shelter pets a better chance at finding home.”

Rabies Licensing Clinic
The city of Susanville and Lassen County join forces for a low-cost Rabies Licensing Clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at the Jensen Hall area at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.

City licenses are $4 (altered) and $10 (unaltered) and county licenses are $5 (altered) and $15 (unaltered).
A rabies certificate is required for obtaining a license. Thompson Peak Veterinary Clinic will be providing rabies vaccinations for $14.

All dogs must be on a leash and all serves are provided cash only.
