Active shooter drill planned for this afternoon, evening

An active shooter drill is planned for this afternoon, Wednesday, March 10, at Diamond View Middle School. It will take place after students are off campus.

“I wanted to let you know that this afternoon into the evening, we will be coordinating with law enforcement in an active shooter drill,” read a Wednesday post from Diamond View Middle School. “If you see law enforcement at school, do not be alarmed. This will be taking place after students are off-campus and into the evening. I’d like to thank the Lassen County Sheriff Office and the Susanville City Police for helping us be preventative and their focus on keeping our schools safe.”
