Adam Drew Cantrell

Adam was born February 28, 1965, in Chester, to Larry and Ann Cantrell of Westwood. He was the second of three sons. He was raised at Westwood, attending local schools, graduating from Westwood High School in 1983. He started his adult life working as a choker setter in the woods, before joining a construction crew, building co-gen power plants. He then worked in an oil refinery, before operating heavy equipment. Adam then owned and operated Adam Cantrell Concrete Company in Cool, California, for several years. He enjoyed life and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, hunting for gold in the streams, water skiing and snow boarding.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Larry and Barbara Cantrell; stepfather, Virgil Simon; brother, Brett; grandparents Howard and Shirley Long, Lowell and Millie Ingersoil and Lawrence Cantrell.

He is survived by his daughter, Drew Marie Cantrell, of Sacramento; mother, Ann Simon of Susanville; brother, Jeff Cantrell of Chester; and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements are by Blair Mortuary, Chester; with inurnment planned at the Westwood Cemetery at a later date.
