Herlong Public Utility District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
West Patton Village Water and Wastewater Pipe Replacement
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Office of the Owner located at 447‐855 Plumas Street, PO Box 115, Herlong, CA 96113, until Thursday September 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: Approximately 11,500 lineal feet of 4 inch through 10 inch SDR 35 PVC, 24 new manholes, 160 lateral reconnections, 9,400 lineal feet of 6 inch through 10 inch AWWA C900 PVC, remove and relocate 12 fire hydrants, 3 new fire hydrants, 146 water service relocations/reconnections, 10 new residential water meters, 5,000 lineal feet of 3/4” through 1‐1/2 inch polyethylene service pipe, miscellaneous concrete flatwork, 210,000 square feet of asphalt street replacement and 17,000 square feet of asphalt trench patch and all incidental work and related appurtenances.

Pre‐Bid Conference
A pre‐bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 9:00 AM beginning at the Office of the Owner. Attendance at the pre‐bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Project Funding Agencies/Prevailing Wage Rates/American Iron & Steel/Disadvantaged Businesses
Funding for this Project has been provided in full or in part from the State of California Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund, Proposition 68 and Proposition 1 through agreements with the State of California Water Resources Control Board. State and Federal Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates and American Iron and Steel requirements apply. The Bidder must take affirmative steps to assure disadvantaged businesses enterprises (DBE’s) are used when possible as sources of supplies, construction and services. The goal for DBE participation is 1%.
