Veterans enjoy lunch at last Friday’s lunch served by the American Legion Tommy Tucker Post No. 204. The lunches, open to public, return at noon every Friday. Larry Rogers, the post’s commander, said the lunch tradition extends as far back as World War I, but it has been interrupted a few times as it was last year by the COVID-19 pandemic.
