An unidentified 19-year-old Doyle woman struck and killed on Highway 395According to a statement from the California Highway Patrol, Terrance Huff, 65, of Zypher Cove, Nevada was driving a 2006 Winnebago motorhome south on Highway 395 at about 60 miles per hour. Huff told the CHP he saw the woman despite a curve and a decline in the elevation of the roadway, and he thought she was on the opposite shoulder of the highway. When Huff got closer, he realized the woman was standing on the centerline of the highway. Huff applied the brakes and attempted to avoid the woman, but she suddenly ran into the path of the Winnebago. Huff and his passenger were uninjured by the woman died at the scene.
