Susanville’s Best of Broadway holds auditions for its summer show, Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 26, and from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at the Lassen High School Drama Room.
Callbacks will be by invitation only at 6:30 p.m. June 1 at the LHS Drama Room.
Areas of audition, both required: Vocal: come prepared to sing a verse and chorus of any song a capella, although a song from the show is preferred. Monologue: choose a monologue from the list provided to perform in auditions, this does not have to be memorized.
Show dates are Aug. 2, 4 and 5.
Rehearsals will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday beginning June 13, except no rehearsals June 22, 4th of July week, or Fair Week.
