NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK
Okay, maybe not really kids, but the residents at Lassen Nursing and Rehabilitation think so. The staff and residents would like to welcome Melissa Swartz, the new Director of Nursing. Swartz was born in Susanville and has returned to take this position. She earned her LVN here at Lassen Community College, her RN degree at College of the Redwoods in Humboldt County, and her BSN at Western Governors University. She has three daughters and is extremely happy to be back home!
Also welcome to the community and Lassen Nursing and Rehabilitation, is Antoine Goodie, the new administrator. Goodie is from the central valley (born in Bakersfield and graduated from Fresno High School). He was a U.S. Army combat medic, serving in the Old Guard ceremonial unit in Washington, D.C. He graduated from Humboldt State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA. Goodie is a big 49ers fan, and he enjoys combat sports and loves to play poker! He is happy to be a part of this community and looks forward to serving it with pride!
