Susanville Best of Broadway and the Lassen County Arts Council present the Reno Dance Company in “The Nutcracker” once again! Don’t miss this special performance with four showings at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. CHRISTMAS BOUTIQUE AND COUNTRY STORE
The ladies of the Monticola Club, a community service organization that is dedicated to improving our community, is hosting a Christmas Boutique and Country Store. Stop by 140 South Lassen St. in Susanville from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. There will be unique and handmade gifts made by local artists and vendors, along with concessions with delicious food to fill your belly and drawings for fantastic prizes.
TURKEY TROT
It’s time for the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. This free community fun run, walk or stroll will take place at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at the Lassen Superior Court at 2610 Riverside Drive in Susanville. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The Lassen Senior Center will be accepting donations of non-expired, non-perishable food items and checks made payable to the Lassen Senior Center at this annual fundraising event.
