Business Scene for the week of 11/5/19

Jessica Newton-Wade, owner of JandJ Performing Arts, is hosting a “Future Kickettes Camp.” If you have a little dancer who has been awed by the Susanville City Kickettes and is aspiring to become a Kickette herself, this will be a perfect opportunity to gain the experience of just what it takes to be a Kickette. The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 16 at the JandJ Performing Arts studio at 611 Main St., Susanville. Call 260-1575 for more information.

The Susanville Salvation Army, “Doing the most good in Lassen County,” is hosting its annual Kettle Kick-off Dinner Nov. 16. This dinner is to raise awareness of what the Salvation Army does in and around Lassen County. They will be serving lasagna two ways and dessert. It will be held at the Susanville Assembly of God Church on Richmond Road. You can purchase one dinner for yourself or you can buy a whole table, which has seating for eight. For more information, call 257-0314 or stop by the Salvation Army office in the Susanville Grocery Outlet shopping center at 1560 Main St. All funds raised will stay in Lassen County to support all programs throughout the year.

Lassen Federal Credit Union is having a special qualifying rate and 90 days no payments on approved credit. So if you are thinking about a new or used car, now is the time to start looking for one.
