HOLIDAY HOURS AT NORTHEASTERN RURAL HEALTH CLINICS
Northeastern Rural Health Clinics will be closing their office suites and walk in clinic on Christmas Eve and Day so their staff can enjoy the holidays with their families and friends. If you have any medical needs, go to the emergency room at Banner Health.
SANTA’S GONE, THE SALE IS ON!
OPEN AFTER CHRISTMAS! Every Bloomin’ Thing is open Wednesdy, Dec. 26 to Sunday, Dec. 30 with some special sales. Owner Melissa McCoy said this is a first for them. Usually, they close right after Christmas. Once this sale is over, Every Bloomin’ Thing will be closed from Dec. 31 to Feb. 3. NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATIONS
Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel will be serving up a delicious prime rib and crab legs dinner with sides, dessert and a champagne toast at their New Year’s Eve party. The first seating is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the second seating is from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Enjoy live music and dancing starting at 9 p.m. Tickets are on sale in the gift shop.
You can ring in the New Year at the Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon. They’re currently taking reservations for their prime rib and seafood dinner starting at 5 p.m. The band Timeless will kick off the evening with dance music starting at 8 p.m. They’ll also be serving a free champagne toast at midnight and there will be party favors, too.
The T & A Lounge has been a long time destination for locals to gather for the New Year’s Eve countdown. You can enjoy delicious food from Mick’s Big Bite Café and then head next door to dance to the beat of DJ Outlaw. They’ll be serving up some holiday drink specials, too!
NEW YEAR’S EVE PRIME RIB SPECIAL
Lassen’s Steaks is offering their mouthwatering prime rib with all the fixin’s dinner Monday, Dec. 31 for New Year’s Eve. Treat your special someone to a night out that begins with a delicious meal with great atmosphere. Lassen’s Steaks also has a full bar available, so come on in New Year’s Day for their signature hot Bloody Mary or Mimosa. FREE RIDE HOME ON NEW YEAR’S EVE
Lassen Rural Bus wants you to enjoy your night out on the town this holiday, and to make sure you don’t start the New Year drinking and driving, they’re offering free bus rides home from 8 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2:30 a.m. Jan. 1. They’re offering a modified city route from 8 to 11 p.m., which drives the blue route in a 45 minute to one-hour circle. A second bus will start operating at 11 p.m. One bus will mainly run between the Diamond Mountain Casino, the Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon and the T & A Lounge, so you can visit all three spots without driving that evening. Plus, the night route will drop you off at your doorstep within the city limits of Susanville. If you need a ride home, call 252-RIDE (7433) or check where the bus is via their app or webpage. SWEAT AND RING IN THE NEW YEAR ON YOUR YOGA MAT
Donna Smith, owner of the Mountain Yoga Studio, tells us they will be having a two-hour workshop New Year’s Day. Letting go of old habits and things that don’t serve us anymore in a powerful detoxifying Kundalini practice. Join them at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 4 for a practice focused on setting your intentions for 2019.
