No one has to draw the short straw and be the designated driver this year! David Knaut, Transportation Planner for the Lassen Transit Service Agency tells us, “a modified city route from 8 to 11 p.m. on New Years Eve which will drive the blue route in an one hour circle. At 11 p.m. the agency will start operating two buses. One will mainly run between the three locations (Diamond Casino, Pioneer Saloon and T&A), so if people want they can go to different locations, so overall, people should be able to get to and from these three night spots via bus. Another bus will drive people directly home from these locations (within the city limits).

If you haven’t stocked up on your wood pellets yet, now is the time to do stock up.
