Business Scene for the week of 3/31/20
To members of the community, from Zaengles
As of now, Zaengles Floor & Home has decided to remain open.
Our biggest priority is the safety of the community. This includes the safety of our employees as well as our customers, so were are doing our best to stay up-to-date with the newest information regarding COVID-19.
As recomended by the CDC, we are implementing extra cleaning procedures, practicing good hygiene as well as social distancing and having everyone remain home if they are sick.
We understand this is a difficult and confusing time. The most important thing is to come together as a community and do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19. Please feel free to give us a call or reach out to us via social media if you have any questions.
In addition, you can now shop by phone or email. We will send you pictures and dimensions of the items. Qualified purchases will now be delivered free in Lassen or Plumas counties. We will also have a special delivery option — if requested our drivers will wear masks, booties and sterile gloves.
Thank you all so much.
Wash your hands and stay healthy.
— Zaengles Floor & Home

Susanville Supermarket project improves customer safety
Susanville Supermarket IGA owners Rick and Anna Stewart came up with a way to better protect their customers from the Coronavirus. They picked up sheets of plexiglass at Billington Ace Hardware, and then called Michael Kirack to install them as sneeze guards on check stands and the customer service areas in the bakery and the deli. Thank you for realizing how important this was to our community. Just another Hometown Hero doing what they do.
