FIREWORKS AND AUTO RACES
On Wednesday, July 4, the track heats up at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with auto racing beginning at 6 p.m. A fireworks show is planned following the races, with an estimated start time of 9:30 p.m. The fireworks show is free, and admission tickets to the races can be purchased in advance at the fair office or at the gate. Martin’s Produce Stand, on the corner of San Francisco Street and Johnstonville Road in Susanville, will be open beginning Saturday, July 7.
